Hi Guys during my visit to Venice, I attended an expo of the event and was talked into taking a pair of Italian compression shin and calf guards. The theory explained to me was, That anything that cuts down on the involuntary movement of muscles would benefit my marathon run, saving energy and fatiguge, which in tern aids recovery. I watched a vidio of an athlete running in slow motion, which highlited and showed the amount of violent movement of all the main leg muscles. it all seemed to make sense. I was asked to write a report after completing the marathon on my experience with these compression aids. I must admit, that my calves seemed to benefit during the run, and recovery was good, allthough i do have a great recovery normally. So am I in really getting any benefit or is it just my imagination, Please help..... Do you use compression gear? ?? and without the technical bumph Whats your thoughts and comments. Ray
